Building Committee
The Building Committee of Our Lady of the Chesapeake--comprised of selected individuals with extensive backgrounds in business, construction, maintenance, engineering, finance, or other related fields--oversaw the construction of our Pastoral Center from the design phase all the way through to completion of the construction process.
The Building Committee was instrumental in obtaining necessary building and construction permits, coordinating the needs of the parish with the architectural plans, and working with the Archdiocese in selecting a general contractor for the actual construction of the new Pastoral Center. The parish is especially grateful to the Building Committee for the many long hours of work and effort put into the designing, planning, and construction oversight of the Pastoral Center.
Mr. Ed Lauer, Chairman of the Building Committee, together with his colleagues on the committee are to be commended in particular for their dedication and persistence in bringing this project along through many ups and downs of this process. They were responsible for completing all the required major milestones with such a positive attitude of success that nothing could deter them from attaining their final goal of making the Pastoral Center a reality.
The entire parish thanks you!
