Prison Ministry

Prison Ministry is a ministry of  "presence."  We, as Church, go to the inmates and manifest God to them by just being there and offering them the opportunity to participate in various spiritual activities such as bible study, prayer, and Christian fellowship.  

On a practical level, the Prison Ministry offers an environment for inmates to experience a change of heart or conversion from the life style that caused them to walk away from God and brought them into conflict with the laws of society.  

So Prison Ministry is about changing hearts today in much the same way as Jesus changed the hearts of those he met and touched two thousand years ago.  We believe that Jesus continues to touch people through his Church and through us, as members of the Body of Christ.
